This role will have responsibility for Grandview and Arena District properties.

The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 9:30AM-6:00PM, Saturdays 9:30AM-5:00PM, Sundays 12:00PM-4:00PM. Weekend availability is required on a rotational basis.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Leasing experience

  • Prior sales consultant experience

  • Hospitality experience

JOB SUMMARY: Works to build a relationship with prospective tenants by going above and beyond to answer questions with accurate information, filling out necessary paper work, and providing opportunities to view the property among other responsibilities. Also, will work with current tenants to maintain a strong relationship and encourage renewal by inquiring about repair needs and following up as needed, having a positive attitude and interest in creating a community environment. This position will also assist with managing the required reports to show the status of the property to management.

Job Description

RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Senior Property Manager


1.Handle phone inquiries and meet company goals for appointment conversion

2.Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.).

3.Inspect models and available units on a daily basis

4.Communicate related service needs to maintenance supervisor

5.Update availability report, process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Senior Property Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status

6.Demonstrate product knowledge to prospects for all communities by communicating and selling the features and benefits; close the sale

7.Secure new resident’s signature(s) on appropriate paperwork prior to move-in. Orient new residents to community

8.Answer questions for residents about community, repairs, rent, rules, etc

9.Type lease and complete appropriate paperwork and give to Financial Admin manager for input

10.Assist management team with other various tasks as required.


Education: High School diploma. Apartment Management Designation such as National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) preferred.

Experience: Prior Leasing or sales experience required

Knowledge: Sales experience, understand and comply with fair housing laws along with state landlord tenant law

Skills: Customer Service, marketing, closing, strong communicator, ability to self direct

Working Conditions: Normal office environment and some weekends
