Ideal candidate will be local to the Brea, California Facility.
SUMMARY: Supports management with diversified coaching needs to achieve performance and sales goals. Diagnoses performance gaps to determine best mix of coaching techniques to achieve success. May be responsible for Performance Management Coaching dashboards. Creates and implements coaching solution tools to empower frontline leaders to be more effective in improving staff performance.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Manager or Director, Learning & Performance. No direct reports.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports management with diversified coaching needs to achieve performance and sales goals. May be responsible for coordinating and administering coaching certification programs for frontline leaders.
Partners with management to analyze current working practices to improve efficiency and productivity. Makes recommendations for coaching opportunities to management; ensures delivery and planning for training and/or coaching based on quality and business needs.
Supports the implementation of new procedures to support the organization’s vision and strategy. Measures the effectiveness of coaching programs.
Diagnoses performance gaps to determine best mix of coaching techniques to achieve success. Removes the punitive stigma of coaching by consistently focusing on the right behaviors
Schedules and facilitates coaching sessions to support sales leaders and agents in improving performance. Documents and reports progress made during coaching sessions to management.
May be responsible for Performance Management Coaching dashboards. Monitors performance metrics to identify areas in need of additional focus or coaching.
Creates and implements coaching solution tools and training to empower frontline leaders and agents to be more effective in improving staff performance. Presents frontline leaders with specific information and techniques to improve coaching skills.
Leads learning and performance coaching related projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree preferred with emphasis in business, education, psychology or related discipline desired. Advanced studies in instructional technology, management, organization development, or a behavioral sciences degree preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) or International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years, typically 4-6 years’ experience in coaching, learning and development. Strong sales experience. Depending on business function, call and processing center experience may be desired. Familiarity with instructional design, skill assessment, measurement methodology, needs assessment, change management, facilitation, and virtual collaboration experience.
Knowledge: Solid knowledge of coaching, facilitation needs analysis, team building, and the design and delivery of coaching solutions.
Skills/Competencies: Solid presentation, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to and explain complex technical concepts. Comfort around frontline leaders. Ability to learn on the fly, negotiate and problem solve to resolution. Strategic agility and able to deal with ambiguity and influence without authority. Strong interpersonal savvy and business acumen required.Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Working Conditions: May require physical ability to stand while teaching and to move furniture, equipment and supplies around classroom. Potential for travel and non-standard work hours (estimated travel time: at least 20-40%).
