JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the supervisor team with the day to day support of our agents. Assists with escalations, quality monitoring, coaching, sales credit processing, 1:1's and real time support.

Job Description

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Manager.

CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supports the current Supervisor Team with the day to day management of team members: Includes Quality Monitoring; Handling Member Escalations, Following up with Agent Coaching and Training Issues.

  2. Provides direct support to the production floor. Answers questions, researches complex issues provides feedback to management on agent challenges.

  3. Provides direct support to department manager. Assists with special projects, acts as a Subject Matter expert for the inside sales roles. Communicates and interacts with other departments to resolve issues as necessary.

  4. Responsible for supporting the department in achieving service levels goals. There is an expectation that this role will be handling overflow calls (New, Renewal, Sales Support) as needed and will be expected to perform according to departmental standards.

  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor Degree preferred but not necessary.

License/Certification/Designation: Property and Casualty license required. Sales Agent will be required to maintain licensure through completion of required Continuing Education credit as a condition of employment.

Experience: A minimum of 1 ½ years of prior telephone or direct sales experience preferred.

Knowledge: One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Competencies: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point Excellent research skills using search engines and other internet resources. Ability to build strong relationships with key business partners internally/ externally with the focus on identifying business opportunities and solutions. Have complete knowledge and understands VPI’s sales tools and processes. Maintain all equipment (current tools/technology) to be successfully at trade shows, outside events, conferences, etc.
